Interactive Knowledge Develops Online Learning Program for UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy

Interactive Knowledge partnered with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy to design and develop Care Aware: Advancing Awareness of Health Care Equity, a new online learning program focused on addressing health disparities in pharmacy practice.

Serving as a strategic partner, Interactive Knowledge worked closely with UNC stakeholders and subject matter experts to shape the program from concept through implementation. The project required a thoughtful approach to instructional design, translating complex and nuanced topics into a structured and engaging digital learning experience.

The program consists of four modules that guide learners through key concepts related to health disparities and patient care. Each module is designed to balance foundational knowledge with real-world application, helping learners connect theory to practice.

Interactive Knowledge led the development of the learning experience, including content structure, user experience design, and multimedia production. The modules incorporate video content, interactive activities, and case-based scenarios that reflect real challenges faced by pharmacy professionals. Visual elements such as infographics and data-driven content support clarity and reinforce key concepts.

The result is a flexible and scalable learning program that supports both academic instruction and professional development. By combining strong instructional design with modern digital delivery, the program demonstrates how complex subject matter can be transformed into meaningful and effective learning experiences.

Interactive Knowledge continues to support UNC as an ongoing partner, providing enhancements and updates as the program evolves.
