Bringing America 250 to Life: Interactive Knowledge Drives Immersive Experiences Nationwide

As the nation gears up for its 250th anniversary, Interactive Knowledge is quietly powering a wave of immersive digital experiences—helping museums and cultural institutions reimagine how America’s story is told for a new generation. We are excited to partner with the Smithsonian Institution, American Battlefield Trust, and the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources' America 250 NC initiative to bring experiences to the nation that celebrate and remember our past while we look to the future.

North Carolina History Explorer Interactive Kiosk

Built to deliver a user-friendly, ADA-compliant touchscreen digital experience, the North Carolina History Explorer Interactive Kiosk engages users in a discovery journey of North Carolina’s history from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War. Visitors can find kiosks in the North Carolina Legislative Building and North Carolina Welcome Centers across the state. Connecting visitors with stories about the events, people, and places that shaped North Carolina, visitors can find information about visiting historic sites to further enhance their learning experience.

Smithsonian Across America

The Smithsonian Institution's impact is broad and deep across the United States, and we worked with them to develop a series of data visualization maps highlighting their incredible reach as a celebration of this important national institution. Visitors can explore how the Smithsonian invests in the cultural institutions of our nation, supports education and research initiatives, and creates opportunities for visitors to access digital content from anywhere in the country.
